| This course, features three lakes, one of which is in the middle of hole #9 and two others that run the entire length of holes #12 and #18. All three lakes are replenished by a three-mile pipeline, which was constructed specifically for the golf course and feeds from the Susquehanna River. An average of 1/2 million gallons of water is fed to this course on a normal summer day. In addition to water hazards, a total of 125 bunkers are strategically placed throughout the course. The South Course has been open since March 30, 1998. Construction on the East Course and the Resort and Conference Center began in the fall of 1999, with play scheduled to begin in 2001. Caddies are available on a pre-reservation basis. Bulle Rock was voted one of "The Top Ten You Can Play" by "GOLF Magazine" in 1998, and ranked 15th on "America's Top 40 Daily Fee Golf Courses" by GOLF Magazine in 2000 . "GOLFWEEK" selected it 67th among "America's 100 Best Modern Courses" for 2000. | |
