Navel oranges are available from the U.S. November through May with promotable supplies in January, February and March. We also receive shipments from South Africa and Australia during our summer months.

Navel oranges are the most popular “eating” orange in the world. They are seedless and easy to peel.

Did you know the first three navel orange trees came to Riverside, California from Brazil in 1873? One of the original trees is still alive and producing delicious fruit. All that sweet, juicy goodness in a fruit that is named after your belly button. How can you have a fruit without seeds anyway? Hmmm…

The original Navels came from a lone branch on a tree of seeded oranges, just a delicious “mistake” of nature. This one branch was grafted over and over, so that today the world produces hundreds of millions of cases.
